History
Vianca was born in Atlas to two tiger faunus Albion and Pahana Tanwen and is the younger sister to Shahaka. However, due to the unfair treatment of faunus in Atlas, the family decided to immigrate to Vacuo in the hopes of receiving fairer treatment and more opportunities. For this reason, Vianca identifies more strongly with the culture and went as far as to get a Vacuo passport after securing her official citizenship for Vacuo.
Growing up, both she and her brother set their sights on becoming Hunters. Being five years older, Shahaka took it upon himself to help his younger sister train by fighting her whenever he was home or even if they met in a secluded area. This eventually fostered a rivalry between the two And, despite genuinely caring about each other, made their relationship more distant and strained.
When Vianca was 17, she successfully secured a place at Shade Academy and was sorted into team AIVE and partnered with Eton Leighton, whom she had met prior to joining the school and formed a close bond with him over her four years of training, more so than her other teammates.
It was this friendship combined with the fact that they felt as if they'd have more chance of getting work together than they would individually that led the two to an agreement that they would travel and take on work together after they graduated. The two have stuck to their agreement since they graduated six months ago.
Appearance
Vianca is short in stature and has a distinctly feminine appearance both in terms of her general appearance but and also in how she presents herself. Despite being slim, her curves are clearly defined. Something which often belies her innate suppleness and subtle musculature. It is her muscle which also increases her weight, something which she understands but still irks her.
Vianca, like her parents and brother before her is a Siberian Tiger faunus, her singular trait is a pair of ears which she often covers with a hat. Like her mother, she has a white and black coloration on her ears rather than the standard orange and black. She also has white waist length white hair and pale blue eyes.
She tends to dress in skin tight clothing or body hugging clothing, but generally keeps things classy to avoid giving people the wrong idea. Her favourite colours to wear are white, blue, black and silver.
Personality
When first meeting her, most would describe her as being friendly and charming but with an untamable edge. Like a wild child who grew up, but still refused to let go of their freedom.
And in many ways, she is exactly that. Although she has matured a lot over the years, she still possesses a warm and seemingly carefree character and with a distinct proclivity for mischief.
She often teases her friends and and associates in various ways but also thrives whenever they respond to her behaviour by teasing her right back. It is also noticed that however she choses to tease people it is always purely playful and not out of malice, even though those just meeting her occassionally misconstrue it.
Despite this she does have a tender side and is surprisingly affectionate and attentive to those whom she grows to care for. She's surprisingly good at giving serious and constructive life advice and is also good at reassuring people in difficult situations.
Furthermore, over the years her temper has dwindled and she is less prone to outbursts during disagreements, however when she is serious about something she will stick to it unwaveringly, whether it's a mission, a question of loyalty, or a matter of ideology and ethics.
Semblance & Weaponry
Semblance
Vianca's semblance allows her to create powerful bursts of kinetic energy, which take the form of blue flames, which she can charge both objects and people with for varying periods of time depending on the object's weight and if she has to direct her aura elsewhere for defensive purposes.
And while she used to be limited to this, through years of training she is finally able to charge her own body with kinetic energy but the effects only last for three minutes and she can only use it once in a 24 hour period.
Weaponry
Vianca's weapon, Forrest Fire, is a liúxīng chuí (more commonly known as a meteor hammer) in it's primary form. She uses this form most frequently as it is effective as both an offensive and defensive weapon and well as giving her fighting style a level of unpredictability due to the variety of ways one can wield it which she frequently uses to give herself an advantage over sentient opponents. Being incredibly practiced with this weapon, she is able to wield it in more advanced ways, such as by wrapping it around own limbs and unwrapping it with a powerful jerk of her body, unleashing it upon her opponent to create a powerful, potentially devastating blow.
However, the left weight collapses into a semi-automatic pistol resembling Desert Eagle .50 caliber. It can fire both dust projectiles and standard bullets. She uses this predominantly if a mid range fight is more advantageous or if she requires the additional fire power to break through a high level Grimm's defenses.
Additionally the right weight collapses into a shamshir sword. She mostly uses this weapon against Grimm with less armour or where a bladed weapon is more effective against them. She will also sometimes use it in fights with other humans and faunus as a means of injuring them in a nonlethal way if a safe capture is out of the question or occassionally as a means of intimidation if she seeks information.
Trivia
• She's afraid of spiders and strongly dislikes other kinds of bugs.
• She loves steak with a passion and can smell it from almost as soon as she steps in the vicinity.
• She's surprisingly good with children, mostly because she can act like a big kid at times.
• She is not a morning person. Wake her at your own peril.
• She despises rain but loves to swim.
• She often does yoga and meditates before she goes to sleep.
• While she doesn't party anywhere near as much as she used to she still loves to dance, socialise and have a few drinks.
• She hates peaches. The taste, the texture, everything.
